Filippo
The Head Honcho
Venice-born and well connected, Filippo is the mastermind behind VOV Concierge and founder of the VOV Collection, VOV Apartments and VOV Estates! Growing up within his family’s 15th century Grand Canal palazzo (where he lives today with his young family and pampered pooch ‘Socrates’) and as holder of an address book replete with the names of trusted Venetian contacts who pave the way into an ‘insider’s Venice’ of comfort and privilege, Filippo’s expertise lies in knowing exactly what it takes to make your stay in Venice as seamless and as pleasurable as you’d hoped for and more – indeed the perfect Venetian experience. Fluent in English, French and Italian and a ‘people person’ through and through, his other great loves besides his home on the water include travel, fine wine, scuba diving and acting.
Rachele
Concierge Supremo
Born and raised into one of the oldest families on the world-famous glass-blowing island of Murano, Rachele has established herself as a firm favourite with VOV clients for her friendliness, hospitality and absolute dependability. A graduate in Communication Studies from the University of Padua, Rachele has a keen interest in the arts (inherited in part from her grandfather who worked with glass) and has trained as a curator. Fluent in English, Italian and the Venetian dialect ‘Venexiàn’, she is passionate about Venice and radiates a genuine enthusiasm for sharing her knowledge and expertise on all things Venetian with guests from around world. In her spare time Rachele can be found exploring the Lagoon and navigating the canals of Venice in her boat.
