Whether you’re a cooking enthusiast, just like to dabble, or don’t know your Cannellini from your Cannelloni, together with your family or friends we’ll create and enjoy the dishes we Venetians love to serve at home!
Gathering at Views on Venice’s / Dimora Italia’s purpose-designed home-kitchen ‘A Tavola’, you’ll be led on your tailor-made food-fest by one of our expert local chefs
Specially chosen for their energy and intuitive approach to teaching (no slavish reliance on boring recipe books here!), they’ll share their intimate knowledge of Venice and its culinary history while you come together to perfect your skills at the worktop and the stove
Following and feasting on a suggested menu of simple cucina casalinga (home-cooking) made with the freshest seasonal ingredients available on the day, your choice of dishes may include specialities such as Fondi di Carciofo from Sant’Erasmo, Baccala Mantecato, perhaps Prawns in Saor…. Maybe a Risotto with Bruscandoli or Asparagus, Homemade Pasta alla Busara and a tempting Tiramisu…
Or perhaps you’d prefer a personally tailored menu – we’d be delighted to discuss your wishes and requirements, simply get in touch before booking!
And last but not least, why not treat the kids to some messy, hands-on cooking with homemade pizzas and yummy pastas their number one dishes of the day! – we very much welcome supervised children over 3 years of age and have some super menu suggestions specially created with little ones in mind

• All private classes are subject to availability and must be pre-booked in advance
• Cooking classes are conducted in either English or Italian
• Any food allergies, food intolerances or special dietary requirements? Please be sure to let us know before booking so that we can contact you to discuss this further
• ‘A Tavola’ is located on the ground floor with access to a luxury guest bathroom and a private furnished courtyard/garden to the rear, the latter transforming into a pretty al fresco dining area
Cancellation is free of charge within 7 days before the day of the cooking class. Cancellation fee of 50% will be charged if your booking is cancelled between 6 and 3 days before the class. No refund if the cancellation occurs less 2 days before the class onwards, and in case of no show.
